Job summary

TRIDENT TOOL & MOLD is seeking an experienced machinist to set up and operate a range of manual machines including mills, lathes, surface grinders and EDM equipment. You will fabricate parts from start to finish, reading blueprints and written instructions with precision.

Applicants should have 7+ years in Tool and Die or Journeyman Machinist roles, be proficient in GD&T, and able to pass a verbal and hands-on test. CNC knowledge is a plus for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• 7 years recent experience in Tool and Die or Journeyman Machinist
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Ability to work from blueprints
• Ability to set up and operate conventional Toolroom machines, mills, lathes, surface grinders, etc.
• Ability to perform work with minimal supervision
• Ability to pass a verbal and hands on test before being hired.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of manual machines including mills, lathes, surface grinders and EDMs.

• Work from blueprints, sketches and written instructions.
• Assemble and disassemble fixtures, dies, templates, molds, etc.
