Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.
• Perform precision measurements using a wide range of inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex tooling issues to optimize production.
• Select appropriate materials and heat treatment processes for tooling applications.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve tool designs and manufacturing processes.
