Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, alter, and repair a wide variety of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
• Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDMs.
• Perform precision measurements using a variety of inspection tools to ensure part conformity.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing tooling and recommend improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship program or vocational training in tool making is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience as a Tool Maker in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of various machining processes, including milling, turning, grinding, and EDM.
• Expertise in operating and maintaining a range of tool room equipment, both manual and CNC.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
