Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Construct, service, and calibrate various dies, gauges, fixtures, and tooling.
• Utilize tool room machinery to fabricate and restore necessary tooling parts.
• Analyze engineering schematics and technical tool prints to guide your work.
• Execute necessary adjustments to tools and handle routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Help maintain a high-quality manufacturing environment by ensuring all tooling performs at peak efficiency.
• Maintain a focus on safety and quality standards while working autonomously.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in tool making.
• Hands-on experience utilizing both manual and CNC Bridgeport milling machines.
• Proficiency in the operation of manual lathes.
• Skilled in the application of surface grinding techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret complex tool prints.
• Familiarity with CNC Mazak systems is considered an advantage.
• Strong mechanical problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
• Dedication to maintaining a safe workspace and consistent attendance.
