Job summary

CCI Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a Tool Coordinator to support field operations by ensuring tools and equipment are available, tracked, and delivered where needed.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will coordinate purchasing, inventory, repairs, and deliveries while upholding safety and organized warehouse practices. You will manage tool requests, maintain accurate asset records, and work with field leaders to optimize tool deployment across job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Tools Department operations and tracking.
• Procure expendable and consumable tools; monitor pricing and inventory.
• Inspect tools; coordinate repairs to extend life.
• Evaluate new tools and repair methods to boost efficiency.
• Process tool requests from field leaders and technicians.
• Maintain asset records and generate utilization reports.
• Coordinate distribution between shops, yards, and sites.
• Dispatch internal deliveries and manage delivery schedule.
• Liaise with repair vendors to minimize downtime.
• Maintain yard, warehouse, and facility areas.
