Job summary

ducts unlimited mechanical inc is seeking a Tool and Equipment Manager to oversee procurement, maintenance, inventory, and distribution of tools and machinery across multiple sites. You will ensure safe operation, organize asset records, and drive cost control with efficient lifecycle management.

The role requires light towing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate between warehouses, offices, and job sites. Travel between sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
• Light towing trailer experience.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory and asset management to ensure accurate records and availability.
• Source and purchase tools and equipment, negotiate pricing with vendors.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs.
• Coordinate tool delivery, pickup, and check-in/check-out processes.
• Ensure OSHA and safety standards are followed and maintain logs/certifications.
• Monitor costs and produce reports on utilization and asset lifecycle.
• Work across office, warehouse, and job sites with occasional travel.
