Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking Repair and Tool Technicians to evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. You will provide service in our Tool Rental Centers and repair centers, including writing customer contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs, testing equipment, and demonstrating proper use as needed.

In non-store locations, you will ensure units are repaired, tested for quality, cleaned, and returned to the originating store.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
• Make equipment recommendations and ensure units are properly maintained.
• Assist customers in Tool Rental with contracts, invoices, repairs and demonstrations when needed.
• Maintain and manage tool inventory and ensure repairs are completed before returning to the store.
