Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Repair and Tool Technician to evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. In-store Tool Rental Centers and repair centers require you to service customers, write rental contracts and repair invoices, and ensure tools operate correctly.

You will also maintain day-to-day tool rental department operations, manage inventory, and ensure repairs are tested and cleaned before returning to the originating store.

Qualifications

• Experience in evaluating and repairing small engines and outdoor power equipment.
• Ability to write rental contracts and repair invoices.
• Knowledge of tool inventory management and proper tool handling.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
• Provide service in Tool Rental Centers and repair centers and demonstrate proper use when needed.
• Maintain day-to-day operation of equipment in the tool rental department and ensure tools operate correctly.
• In non-store locations, repair, test quality, and restore units to the originating store.
