Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking Repair and Tool Technicians to evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. This role covers in-store Tool Rental Centers and repair centers, ensuring equipment is maintained and functioning properly.

You will assist customers, write contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs, and manage tool inventory, repairs, testing, and cleaning before returning units to the store.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices.
• Maintain and test equipment to ensure proper operation before return.
• In-store Tool Rental Centers: assist customers, write customer contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs.
• Manage tool inventory and perform repairs, testing and cleaning of units in non-store locations before returning to the store.
