Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is hiring for a manufacturing associate at our Fort Atkinson facility. This role supports ink and tooling operations, checks supplies and workload, and maintains accurate inventories.

You will assist with ink requests, produce proofs when needed, and help ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met across shifts. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work safely.

Responsibilities

  • Check supplies on all equipment and ensure enough for the morning.
  • Receive and check in tooling daily and maintain inventories.
  • Deliver inks and prepare tooling for transfers between facilities.
  • Assist in processing ink requests and produce ink proofs as needed.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness per company policies.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Check supplies on all equipment (ink, rags, Resolve, defoamer, Jones black, etc.).
  • Check workload on all equipment, making sure there is enough to last the morning.
  • Receive and check in all tooling daily.
  • Aid in evaluating and repairing damaged tooling when possible.
  • Assist in processing all ink requests.
  • Produce ink proofs when needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of production supplies and order when necessary.
  • Check for return inks.
  • Deliver inks as needed.
  • 5Sing die room daily.
  • Rinse five-gallon buckets as needed.
  • Prepare tooling for transfer to other facilities.
  • Learn to effectively navigate operational software and programs
  • Communicate effectively and professionally
Additional Functions and Responsibilities
  • Take correct printing dies to press department machines.
  • Pick up all printing dies from press department machines and return to die room after order is complete.
  • Wash all dirty printing dies, remove tape, and band type.
  • Replace printing dies in proper sequence on printing die rack.
  • Complete routine supplies and ink inventories.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Fulfillment of all job responsibilities by meeting WPD specifications for quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Promotes a positive working environment supporting Green Bay Packaging's teamwork concept.
  • Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Makes best use of time during the day.
  • Consistently shows ability to recognize and deal with priorities.
