Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a production operator to set up presses, manage die-cut processes, and monitor quality across job runs.

You will inspect dies, secure components, and optimize ink colors while maintaining safety and efficiency. Overtime, including Saturdays, may be required to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to multi-task and keep pace with production while maintaining quality and achieving machine efficiency goals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mathematical and problem-solving ability, and ability to effectively utilize a tape measure.
• Must be willing to work overtime, including Saturdays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manually set up press, print, score, and die cut accurately per operating specs.
• Inspect dies before and after a run and perform repairs as needed before the next run.
• Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and secured.
• Monitor box quality (loose liner, warp, size, die cut, print).
• Become efficient in all aspects of the machine (pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former).
• Manage ink and color adjustments (pH and viscosity).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Manually set up press, print, score, and die cut accurately in accordance with proper operating techniques and specs.
• Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure any necessary repairs are made before the next run.
• Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and tightly secured.
• Monitor box quality including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, die cut, and print.
• Become efficient in all aspects of the machine - pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former.
• Ink management skills/color adjustment (PH and Viscosity).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
