Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Tool and Die Technician to support stamping dies and roll form tooling in Tulsa, OK. You will repair, sharpen, clean, and refurbish dies and set up roll form tooling with the maintenance team.

Requirements: High School Diploma or Tech training and 5+ years in die making/maintenance, CNC experience with lathes/mills and MasterCam. 1st shift, Mon–Thu, 5:00am–3:00pm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience making or maintaining metal stamping dies.
• Experience with roll form tooling and processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues in the press or on the roll forming mills.
• 5+ years of manual machining with knee mills, toolroom lathes, bandsaws, surface grinders.
• Experience running/programming CNC lathes and mills using conversational programming.
• Ability to program a wire EDM machine with MasterCam.
• Experience welding tool steel and other ferrous metals.

Responsibilities

• Repair metal stamping dies including sharpening, cleaning, refurbishing.
• Repair and maintenance of roll form tooling.
• Work with press/mill operators to fix part quality issues.
• Support maintenance with machining projects across the plant.
• Machining of die components using mills, lathes, surface grinders, CNC equipment.
• Set up and tear down of roll form tooling.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams.
