Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Tool and Die Technician to support stamping dies and roll form tooling, repair dies, and collaborate with production on machining needs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or tech/apprenticeship, 5+ years making or maintaining metal stamping dies, plus roll form tooling, CNC lathes/mills, and Mastercam programming. Overtime and safety-conscious teamwork are essential.

This is 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 5:00am–3:00pm.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Tech School/Apprenticeship.
• 5+ years making or maintaining metal stamping dies.
• Experience with roll form tooling and processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues in press or roll forming mills.
• 5+ years manual machining on knee mills, lathes, bandsaws, grinders.
• Experience running/programming CNC lathes/mills with conversational programming.
• Ability to program a wire EDM with Mastercam.
• Welding tool steel and other ferrous metals.

Responsibilities

• Repair stamping dies including sharpening, cleaning, refurbishing.
• Maintain tube mill cut-off dies.
• Work with press/mill operators to fix part quality issues.
• Machining die components and tooling with mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC equipment.
• Set up and tear down of roll form tooling; clean and polish tooling.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams.

# Tool & Die TechnicianAmeristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Tool and Die Technician. This position will be responsible for supporting stamping dies and roll form tolling through out the plant. Make, maintain dies and roll form tooling while working with production throughout the plant for various machining needs. **This shift will be a 1st shift, Monday-Thurdsay, 5:00am to 3:00pm.
