Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, seeks a Tool and Die Technician in Tulsa, OK. You will support stamping dies and roll form tooling across the plant, performing repair, setup, and preventative maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of die making and machining experience, proficiency with MasterCam, CNC lathes and mills, and a formal apprenticeship or journeyman level training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; tech school or apprenticeship preferred.
• 5+ years making or maintaining metal stamping dies and tooling.
• Experience with roll form tooling and troubleshooting tooling issues.
• 5+ years manual machining on knee mills, lathes and grinders; CNC exposure.
• Ability to program wire EDM and CNC lathes/mills; MasterCam experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Repair, sharpen, clean and refurbish stamping dies and roll form tooling.
• Work with press/mill operators to resolve part quality issues.
• Machining die components using mills, lathes, grinders and CNC equipment.
• Set up and teardown of roll form tooling; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Welding tool steel and other ferrous metals; support maintenance projects.
