Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in LaVergne, TN is seeking a Tool & Die Technician for the 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm), Monday through Friday, with overtime on weekends as needed. The role involves analyzing specifications, laying out stock, and setting up and operating machine tools to fabricate and repair dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and related tooling.

• Three to five years Tool & Die experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders to machine parts and prototypes.
• Repair, construct, alter or maintain jigs, dies, fixtures, gauges and machine components in collaboration with Engineering.
• Verify conformance of machined parts to drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical assistance to other Tool & Die Makers and machinists on complex operations.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and descriptions to determine materials and equipment needed.

Anchor Fabrication in LaVergne, Tn is looking for a Tool & Die Technician for our 2nd shift working 2:30 pm-11 pm Monday- Friday, with the ability to work overtime on weekends.The Tool & Die Technician will analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to fabricate and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists’ hand tools.Essential job duties and responsibilities:Repairs, constructs, alters or maintains jigs die, fixtures, gauges machine components and other tooling in conjunction with the Engineering departmentSets up and operates equipment such as lathes, milling machines and grinders to machine parts and prototypes.
