Flex-N-Gate LLC. is seeking an experienced die maker to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair single hit, transfer, and progressive dies.

You will read blueprints, create or modify tools, and verify critical dimensions and clearances to ensure parts meet specifications. You will conduct test runs, adjust tooling as needed, and keep production boards current while working closely with apprentices to ensure they meet requirements.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with progressive and line dies.
• Journeyman Card preferred.
• Tools required for the trade supplied by candidate.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening including background check, drug screen and physical.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair single hit, transfer and progressive dies
• Works from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, jigs and molds
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications, making adjustments as necessary
• Keep production boards and assignment boards up to date
• work directly with apprentices to ensure they are meeting requirements

Conocimientos

Progressive and line dies experience

Journeyman Card preferred

Ability to pass pre-employment screen

Educación

High School diploma or equivalent
