100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Repair Technician for an automotive stamping facility in Detroit.

The role will focus on repairing and maintaining stamping dies, performing in-press repairs, troubleshooting die tooling issues, and ensuring presses run smoothly through preventive maintenance and collaboration with production and tool room teams. The ideal candidate has prior tool and die repair experience, automotive stamping exposure, and strong mechanical/troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Previous tool and die repair experience.
• Automotive stamping experience preferred.
• Experience with large stamping dies.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Welding and grinding experience.
• Experience performing in-press repairs.
• Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Comfortable in a production stamping environment.
