The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on dies experience, reads GD&T, works with precision measuring equipment, and can work independently 45–55 hours weekly with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience repairing large stamping dies (Class A/B).
• Strong ability to diagnose die-related issues and perform repairs.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify large Class A/B stamping dies and tooling.
• Diagnose die issues, perform die tryouts, fitting, and bench work as needed.
• Read blueprints/prints and use precision measuring equipment to verify specs.
• Perform tool room machining: milling, grinding, drilling, welding, fitting.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve tooling problems.
