Anchor Fabrication in LaVergne, TN is seeking a Metal Stamping Die Maker & Jig/Fixture Craftsman on 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm, Monday–Friday) with weekend overtime as needed. You will interpret blueprints, set up and operate lathes, mills, shapers, and grinders, and repair jigs, dies, fixtures, gauges, and machine components.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 3–5 years Tool & Die experience; journeyman’s card preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of Tool & Die experience; journeyman’s card preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail under schedule pressure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Strong communication skills; computer literate; proficient with precision measuring instruments.

Responsabilités

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and models to plan layouts and sequences.
• Set up and operate lathes, mills, shapers, and grinders; verify dimensions.
• Repair, construct, alter, and maintain jigs, dies, fixtures, gauges, and machine components.
• Collaborate with Engineering to repair tooling and process machines.
• Advise other Tool & Die Makers, Machinists, and Press teams on complex setups.
• Develop specs from general descriptions into workable sketches for specialty tools.
