Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System Sector (NGAS) is seeking a Manager of Tool Die Making 1 for our Aero Structures team in Clearfield, Utah. The position supports weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) with the option for overtime and potential discretionary bonuses based on company results.

The role leads production metrology, tooling fabrication, and pattern making, while driving Lean initiatives and cross-functional collaboration across programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years in manufacturing/aerospace/tooling.
• Prior leadership experience in a managerial, lead, or supervisory capacity.
• Ability to obtain/maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret clearance in a reasonable time.
• Ability to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides tooling support for production transition and sustained efforts.
• Establishes and improves processes and tool sets across the organization.
• Monitors risk items and promotes Lean and knowledge management initiatives.
• Manages personnel performance evaluation, merit planning, and employee development.
