Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for a company based in Everman, TX. The role will analyze blueprints and engineering data to design tooling for short-run metal stamping.

You will calculate flat pattern layouts, design short-run tooling, and maintain stamping dies, collaborating with the pressroom to troubleshoot tooling issues. Candidates should have 3+ years of tool and die experience and be familiar with blend allowances and bend deductions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience as a tool and die maker in the short run metal stamping industry.
• Must be familiar with Blend allowance and bend deductions.
• Must be familiar with short-run stamping tooling methods.
• CNC Machining experience would be a plus.
• Mastercam or SolidWorks experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and engineering data to determine manufacturing.
• Calculates flat pattern layout of metal stamping.
• Design short run, single stage type tooling.
• Maintain and repair stamping dies as needed.
• Work with Pressroom to troubleshoot tooling issues.
