Job summary

Topdogengineers is hiring a Tool & Die Maker for our metal stamping division in AL. The role involves building and maintaining dies, ensuring readiness for production, and collaborating with multiple departments to meet tight quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years with dies, knows GD&T, and can read blueprints. A journeyman cert is a huge plus, with relocation assistance available and great growth opportunities in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus hands-on experience required.
• 5–7 years working with dies, including setup and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T; journeyman certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair metal stamping dies (progressive, transfer, deep draw).
• Collaborate with other departments to prepare dies for production.
• Identify and solve die-related problems on the shop floor quickly.
• Handle various tooling types (Stage/Form, Compound, Progressive).
• Conduct regular maintenance on dies to ensure precision.
• Assist process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Work with engineering and quality teams to uphold standards.
