Premium Guard Inc. (PGI) seeks skilled personnel to interpret drawings, plan machining and die procedures, and perform complex tool setups. The role covers fabrication, die construction, and precise assembly to meet specifications with emphasis on quality and safety.

The candidate will contribute to continuous tooling improvements, undertake developmental work on tooling/dies, and ensure equipment safety and housekeeping standards are maintained in a manufacturing setting.

Formación

• Interprets drawings to determine construction specifications.
• Plans and lays out machine and bench procedures for changes to dies.
• Performs setups for tooling, dies and fixtures per specifications.
• Applies safety checks and maintains cleanliness and organization.

Responsabilidades

• Interprets complicated drawings and calculates critical dimensions to determine construction specifications.
• Plans/lays out machine and bench procedures for projects determining alterations on dimensions of existing dies in order to comply with specifications.
• Performs complicated setups to make, alter, or repair intricately designed and constructed tools and fixtures.
• Performs component fabrication and die construction tasks using machining operations.
• Performs critical bench and assembly operations to fit, align, calibrate, adjust, assemble and finish work.
• Functions as a resource person and assists fabrication and tool/die department personnel.
• Suggests, develops and implements tooling performance improvements.
• Performs experimental and developmental work concerning changes to tooling/dies.
• Performs regular safety inspections of equipment and ensures preventative maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
