Requirements

• Previous work experience with intermediate knowledge of gasoline and/or diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, drive trains, and electrical systems
• Employee provides own tools or must acquire them within 90 days of employment
• Knowledge of safe work practices in a shop environment around tools and equipment
• Ability to read and understand repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tight or awkward positions
