Job summary

KI is seeking a full-time Tool and Die Maker/Machinist for our Green Bay, WI plant on 3rd shift. You will design, repair and maintain dies, fixtures and tooling, and operate CNC centers, mills, lathes and grinders to support production.

The role requires an associate degree in tool/machining or progress toward journeyman status; CAD/CAM skills and the ability to read blueprints are essential. We offer a strong benefits package and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Completion or ongoing progress of an Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent.
• Progress into a Journeyman Tool & Die or Journeyman Machinist program is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and repair dies, fixtures, molds, tooling equipment, etc.
• Operate tool room equipment (CNC machining centers, manual mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, etc.)
• Read and understand blueprints
• Sketch components complete with essential dimensions
• Use inspection instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Work closely with engineers and production/support technicians
• Assist in development of new plant equipment
• Make suggestions for improvement

Job Duties

• Design, build and repair dies, fixtures, molds, tooling equipment, etc.

Minimum Requirements

• Completion or ongoing progress of an Associate degree in a Machine Tool Technology or equivalent degree or completion or ongoing progress into a Journeyman Tool & Die program or Journeyman Machinist program is required.
