Beckett Air, Incorporated seeks an experienced Tool & Die Maker to fabricate, repair, and calibrate precision tooling used in production. You will interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to produce high-quality dies and molds while maintaining tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in progressive die work, CAD/CAM tools, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. The role supports a flexible shift schedule with part-time options based on production needs.

Formación

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Tool & Die Apprenticeship or equivalent experience required.
• 5 years of hands-on toolroom experience focused on progressive die construction, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong knowledge of metal properties, machining processes, and heat treatment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Gibbscam, SolidWorks) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Construct, modify, and repair progressive stamping dies from engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Perform precision machining, surface grinding, and bench work to maintain tolerances on punches and dies.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues on the press line during die tryouts and production runs.
• Fabricate, assemble, and maintain tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision equipment.
• Inspect, test, and verify tools and dies meet quality standards and tolerances.
• Carry out routine maintenance and calibration on tools, dies, and fixtures.
• Safely handle large dies using carts, cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to design tooling solutions.
