Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a machinist with strong blueprint reading and close tolerance machining skills. The role involves setting up CNC and conventional machines, inspecting dies, and applying CAD/CAM to design new tooling; attention to tolerances and quality is essential.

Formación

• Trade school training in machine trades or 1+ year as a machinist performing close tolerance machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks).

Responsabilidades

• Organize and supervise tooling programs.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances with precision instruments.
• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machine tools to shape parts.
• Inspect dies and tools for defects and conformance to specs.
• Develop and design new tools and dies using CAD/CAM.
