Position Summary

The Tool Die Maker will support the Stamping business unit and will be responsible for building and maintaining fixtures, gauges, and various forms of tooling using validated practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and build reliable production-ready tooling on time
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and determine optimal solutions
• Collaborate with others to ensure best practices during build and qualification of tooling
• Refine all toolroom processes
• Set up and operate CNC and manual equipment to produce high-quality tooling components and parts

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent machine tool experience
• 5+ years experience in building or maintaining precision tooling
• Knowledge of cutting and forming theories, troubleshooting skills, blueprint reading, and mechanical aptitude

Preferred Requirements

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Experience in medical device manufacturing
• Progressive tooling experience
• Knowledge of Lean principles and workflow

Physical & Environmental Demands

Use of cutting oils, solvents, and chemicals, with periodic testing to ensure safety compliance.
