Tool and Die Maker II - Kapco Osceola, WI

If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others, our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. Kapco Inc. is looking for a Tool & Die Maker II at our Osceola, WI facility.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Performs skilled duties in developing and building dies, jigs, fixtures, etc.
  2. Builds new and repairs existing dies, consisting of progressive dies, fixtures, etc.
  3. Works from blueprints and sketches to create or modify prototypes, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and molds.
  4. Calculates the dimensions and tolerances required to set up the machine tools.
  5. Operates lathes, grinders, milling, and boring machines to produce tools.
  6. Performs all Tool and Die Maintenance and Repair duties effectively and efficiently as needed.
  7. Verifies that quality and print specifications are met.
  8. Orders supplies.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
  1. Requires a two-year trade school program, or equivalent.
  2. Three to five years of previous experience in building new metal stamping and progressive dies required.
