Equipto, located in beautiful Tatamy PA, is seeking a qualified Tool and Die Machinist to fabricate, modify, and repair tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures. The role offers growth within a team-oriented environment with learning opportunities and internal promotions.

The successful candidate will have 3 years of tight tolerance tool experience, be proficient with GD&T measurement devices, read blueprints, and follow safety protocols while maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of tight tolerance tool related experience required.
• Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices (GD&T) such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges and calipers.
• Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders, blueprints, quality specifications, and other related documents.
• Positive attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Observes all safety rules.
• Maintains a neat and well-organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Making, modifying, and/or repairing tools, dies, molds, jigs, fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and die conditioning.
• Sharpening, repair and create close tolerance tooling to re-build a die.
• Support stamping production by troubleshooting more complex dies.
