Job summary

Equipto in Tatamy, PA is seeking a Tool and Die Machinist with experience making, modifying, and repairing tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures. The role offers growth, on-the-job learning, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Required are a high school diploma, 3 years of tight tolerance tooling experience, and ability to read blueprints and use GD&T measuring devices like micrometers and calipers. Safety, organization, and ownership are valued.

Qualifications

• Capable of using precision measuring tools (GD&T) such as micrometers, calipers.
• Ability to interpret safety instructions, blueprints and quality specifications.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Observes safety rules and keeps a neat and well-organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Making, modifying, and/or repairing tools, dies, molds, jigs, fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and die conditioning.
• Sharpening, repair and create close tolerance tooling to re-build a die.
• Support stamping production by troubleshooting more complex dies.

Our opening for Tool and Die Machinist will allow the employee an exciting opportunity for an experienced machinist to make, modify, repair tools, dies, molds, jigs, fixtures. The most qualified candidate will be able to:

• Making, modifying, and/or repairing tools, dies, molds, jigs, fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and die conditioning
• Sharpening, repair and create close tolerance tooling to re-build a die.
• Support stamping production by troubleshooting more complex dies

In order for the candidate to be successful they will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of tight tolerance tool related experience.
• Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices (GD&T) such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges and calipers.
• Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders, blueprints, quality specifications, and other related documents.
• Positive attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• Observes all safety rules.
• Maintains a neat and well-organized work area.
