Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, TN is hiring an experienced Tool & Die Maker for 1st shift. You will operate manual mills, lathes, EDMs and related tooling components, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Production and Engineering on R&D initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years of conventional Tool & Die experience, a high school diploma or GED, and advanced technical training is a plus. We offer weekly pay, a 401(k) with company match, and paid holidays.

Qualificações

• 5 or more years of conventional Tool & Die experience.
• Ability to interpret prints and sketches to fabricate dies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Production and Engineering on problem solving and R&D initiatives.
• Identify or analyze defective die or machine components and indicate corrective actions.
• Operate and set up manual mills, grinders, lathes, EDMs, and polishing equipment to produce all required product types including complex tooling components.
• Fabricate, machine, and install punches, dies, fixtures, etc. used on presses and tapping machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on dies, shop, and production equipment.
