Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker on 1st Shift to join our aerospace-focused machining team. The role requires extensive experience with conventional lathes, mills, and EDM equipment, and a strong mechanical aptitude for quick issue resolution.

We manufacture specialty threaded locking fasteners for jets and submarines. Start time is 5:00AM, Monday to Friday, with overtime often available on Saturdays or surrounding shifts.

Qualifikationen

5+ years of conventional Tool & Die experience.
Ability to develop or design specifications from general descriptions.
Ability to troubleshoot die issues.

Aufgaben

Collaborate with Production and Engineering on problem solving and R&D initiatives.
Identify and analyze defective die or machine components and determine corrective actions.
Operate and set up manual mills, grinders, lathes, EDMs, and polishing equipment.
Fabricate, machine, and install punches, dies, fixtures used on presses and tapping machines.
Perform preventive maintenance on dies and production equipment.
Work safely under PPE and safety guidelines.
Complete other duties as assigned.
