Job summary

Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to operate tapping/threading equipment used in our manufacturing process to produce internally threaded lock nuts for aerospace and military applications.

The position is full-time, on a day shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM) with occasional overtime. Candidates should have prior machine operation experience in manufacturing and a High School Diploma or GED. Weekly pay, benefits, and 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment, or similar work experience.
• High School Diploma/GED or higher.

Responsibilities

• Operate tapping/threading equipment used in our manufacturing process to make internally threaded lock nuts.
• Set up and adjust machines for different parts.
• Frequent inspection of finished pieces using calipers, gauges, etc.
• Move parts on pallet jacks and document productivity records.
