Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in a recognized Tool & Die/Machining apprenticeship program.
• Previous manufacturing, machining, maintenance, or technical experience preferred but not required.
• Interest in developing a career in Tool & Die Making and precision machining.

Responsibilities

• Learn to interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and more in toolroom operations.
• Assist with fabrication, repair, and maintenance of dies, tools, gauges, jigs, and fixtures.
• Develop hands-on skills with mills, lathes, grinders, and Wire EDM under guidance.
• Learn measurement techniques using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, etc.
