Job summary

Race Winning Brands is hiring a Tool & Die Maker I for the Mentor, Ohio facility. You will help build, repair and modify tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and molds, under supervision of senior staff, to keep production equipment accurate.

You’ll learn by doing, work safely, and contribute to quality and efficiency on the shop floor. The role is full-time, 1st shift, with day-one benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to 2 years of related experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication with management and peers.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Basic understanding of CNC machine tools and shop equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Put safety first and never pass on a defect.
• Work like a pit crew and seek faster, smarter ways to work.
• Build and repair basic machine shop tools using machining equipment.
• Fabricate or modify tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and molds from blueprints.
• Learn dimensions and tolerances to set up machine tools under supervision.
• Run basic lathes, grinders, milling and boring machines under supervision.
• Inspect finished work against blueprints and specs; report problems.
• Take ownership of your work and look for improvements.
• Help keep the workplace safe, organized and respectful.
