Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in Cheshire, CT is seeking a Tool Designer 1 responsible for developing manufacturing tooling and equipment. You will utilize NX CAD software to create tool designs for internal manufacturing and various Aerospace & Defense projects.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Tool Design.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. Government.

Responsibilities

• Create tool designs utilizing NX CAD system.
• Communicate with various teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Design dies, gages, and other manufacturing tools.

Skills

Knowledge of Military & Commercial designs and standards

Ability to use CAD software, NX preferred

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively

Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices

Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level

Education

High School Degree or G.E.D.
