Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Troy, Alabama is seeking a Tool Design Engineer to join the Missile Assembly team at Pike County Operations. You will design, fabricate, and implement tooling and fixtures, using CAD software such as Creo and CATIA V5, and provide shop-floor support to resolve manufacturing issues.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree and at least two years in tool design or manufacturing, with experience drafting 3D models and ensuring designs meet government and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least two years in Tool Design or manufacturing.
• Experience drafting and creating 3D CAD models and drawings.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD secret clearance.
• Able to pass ATF background check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and fabricate tooling.
• Create CAD models and drawings using CREO and CATIA V5.
• Provide shop-floor support to resolve tooling issues.
• Ensure designs comply with government regulations and safety standards.
