Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Tool Shop Attendant for our Mobile, AL facility to manage the tool crib, inventory, and tool calibration in a production environment. You will oversee receiving, issuing, and tracking tools, coordinate maintenance, and ensure compliance with shop safety and OSHA standards.

The role requires hands-on tool knowledge and basic data tasks in SAP and Excel. The position supports procurement and shop floor control, reporting to the Procurement team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in logistics or tool management with inventory control.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools used in aviation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue tools for production and maintain records of movement.
• Visually inspect tools for defects and coordinate maintenance.
• Mark and identify tools and equipment; support calibration activities under QA guidance.
• Create SAP master data and purchase requests; coordinate with procurement.
