Job summary

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking a Tool Shop Attendant to maintain the tool crib and support procurement functions for the production teams. You will track tools, ensure they are in good repair, and support calibration activities under QA guidance.

The role requires experience in logistics or tool management within manufacturing, knowledge of aviation hand and power tools, and a solid grasp of shop safety and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or tool management in a manufacturing environment inventory management experience.
• General knowledge of hand, power tools, cutting tool related to aviation industry.
• Knowledge of shop safety (clean as you go/FOD) and OSHA regulations.
• Use of Data collection program (such as SAP and Excel).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Tool Shop Functions: Receive, store, and issue tools for production; visually inspect and mark tools; coordinate maintenance.
• Operational Procurement Functions: Create SAP master data and purchase requests; validate material receipt and due dates; adjust inventory and participate in audits.
• Shop Floor Control: Clean up tool clips; kit daily consumables; participate in daily Production meetings.
