Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems seeks a Tool Crib Manager to oversee daily tool crib operations, inventory accuracy, and vendor coordination. The role drives tool availability, budget adherence, and safety programs within our field and shop environments.

The candidate will lead the crib team (or operate independently in smaller settings), optimize storage, perform stock audits, and collaborate with estimating and project teams on lifecycle tool needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
• 7+ years in tool crib, warehouse, or inventory operations, with supervisory experience.
• Experience managing capital and operating budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tool crib operations, ensuring tools and hardware are available, maintained, and tracked.
• Manage inventory controls, audits, and shelving layouts with 5S methodologies.
• Coordinate with purchasing to source tools and hardware and manage vendor relationships.
• Lead safety programs and ensure a clean, organized workspace across the crib and warehouse.
• Forecast tool and equipment needs in collaboration with project teams.
