Job summary

Jabil is seeking an administrative support specialist to assist department personnel with information flow, reporting, and file management in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will maintain departmental data in the system, prepare area activity reports and graphs, process requisitions and check requests, support personnel management tasks, and keep the Tool Crib Parts Catalog current.

This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and teamwork in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC, including Windows-based software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to handle standard situations with few variables.
• Ability to read and understand short instructions, memos, and simple emails.

Responsibilities

• Receive and provide area information.
• Make activity reports and graphs for the department.
• Maintain all departmental information organized and current in the system
• File area and/or personnel documents
• Facilitate purchasing requisitions for stationary goods and distribute to members of the same department.
• Make all check requests for the department per procedure
• Support the coordinator in the management of personnel (vacation, service anniversary, promotion, change, etc.)
• Input/Track requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Check Requests
• Track parts repair and warranties with providers.
• Maintain the Tool Crib Parts Catalog current.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
