Schivo Medical is seeking a Tool Crib Inventory Specialist in Plainview, NY. You will support daily tool crib operations, maintaining cutting tools, tool holders, and related inventory to prevent downtime.

You will work with production, engineering, and procurement to manage orders, replenishments, and inventories. Ideal candidates have experience in inventory control, tooling specifications, and ERP usage, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong math and accurate counting for inventory data.
• Able to collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams.
• Learn and interpret basic engineering drawings and tooling specs.
• Experience in tool crib, inventory control, or related environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support placement of new orders through Supply Chain according to production requirements.
• Review tool crib inventory and identify replenishment needs.
• Perform stock inventory, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
• Replenish machine and vending machine inventories as required.
• Assist with managing vending inventory per forecast and production schedule.
• Maintain the tool pre-setter room and organize tooling data.
• Issue, receive, allocate, and distribute cutting tools and related supplies.
• Track and report overages, shortages, damaged tools, and unscheduled tooling requests.
• Submit RFQs for tools and procurement goods when assigned.
• Gather supplier performance data and assist with purchase recommendations.
