Job summary

Qualifications

• The candidate must have 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or tool crib environments.
• Proficient in basic computer use and inventory systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read part numbers, tool specifications, and work orders.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Issue tools, equipment, and consumables to production and maintenance staff.
• Receive, inspect, and restock tools and materials returned to the crib.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages.
• Keep the tool crib clean, safe, and organized.
• Track tool calibration status and arrange calibration or repairs as needed.
• Identify damaged or missing tools and report discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement for inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Follow Vertiv safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Assist with cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories.
• Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, and procurement teams.
