Job summary

Climate Control Systems of Greenwood, Inc. is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to manage inventory, issue tools to production, and maintain records using SAP and the CMMS.

Responsibilities include 5S housekeeping, coordinating material movements, loading and unloading items, cycle counts, storage optimization, and accurate shipment records.

The role requires forklift experience, CMMS and MS Office familiarity, and a high school diploma; occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• One year of inventory control/tool crib experience required
• One year of experience operating a forklift
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and CMMS knowledge is required
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in inventory control required
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Stock inventory and issue tools to production; maintain records using SAP and CMMS
• Maintain clean work area and participate in 5S strategies
• Coordinate materials organization, issue/receive tools, verify and keep records on shipments
• Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, equipment, and supplies
• Communicate effectively with customers and peers, verbally and in writing
• Perform cycle counts as required
• Determine space requirements and storage positions for materials
• Availability to work outside normal hours or weekends
• Follow safety procedures to foster a safety-first culture
