Job summary

Europastry USA is seeking a Tool Crib Supervisor to oversee daily tool crib and stockroom operations that support maintenance, repair, and production. You will manage staff, ensure accurate inventory records, and coordinate purchasing to keep tools and parts available for plant operations.

This role emphasizes LEAN, 5S, and continuous improvement practices, plus reporting KPIs related to inventory accuracy and tool utilization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in tool crib operations, stockroom management, inventory control, or maintenance support within a manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tool crib and stockroom operations across multiple shifts.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and supplies.
• Monitor inventory transactions in the inventory management system.
• Coordinate replacement parts, tools, and supplies with purchasing and vendors.
• Ensure materials are received and issued accurately and timely.
• Implement organized storage per LEAN, 5S, and continuous improvement.
• Track KPIs related to inventory accuracy and tool utilization.
• Prepare schedules and coordinate staffing to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor Tool Crib Attendants.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
• Maintain records for tool tracking and calibration.
• Ensure safety, quality compliance and promote safety culture.
