Job summary

Nesco Resource, LLC is seeking a warehouse inventory specialist for distribution of tools, materials and supplies on the Louisville plant floor. You will monitor returns, coordinate replenishment with suppliers, and maintain accurate inventory records in our ERP system.

The role requires 2-4 years of warehouse/inventory experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong math, Word and Excel skills. Forklift experience and lean manufacturing exposure are a plus in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years warehouse/inventory experience preferred.
• Excellent math skills and experience with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Distribute tools, equipment and supplies to employees and monitor returns.
• Advise on materials below standard inventory levels or needs, inform managers.
• Communicate with suppliers/vendors for replenishment as directed by supervisor or other departments.
• Update and track inventory or supplies.
• Assist in physical inventory.

Job Duties:

1. Responsible for distribution of tools, equipment and supplies to employees and monitor return of equipment.
2. Responsible for advising needs of materials that are either below standard inventory levels or by needs from employees by informing mangers using ERP, purchase approval forms or other methods.
3. Talk with suppliers and vendors if necessary for replenishment by instruction from direct supervisor other departments involved.
4. Update and track inventory or supplies.
5. Assist in physical inventory.

Required Education

1. High School Diploma or GED required

Required Experience

2-4 years warehouse/inventory experience preferred.

Required Skills

1. Equivalent combination of aptitude, education, certification and or experienced body of knowledge that will meet our requirements.

1. Must have excellent math skills and experience in Microsoft word and Excel.
2. Forklift and lean manufacturing experience helpful.

Physical Requirements

1. Walking when occasionally on plant floor
2. Other physical tasks as required or assigned
3. The ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods.

Mental Requirements

1. Must be able to carry out complex written and oral instructions.

Working Environment

1. Typical manufacturing environment on plant floor
2. No air conditioning and hearing protection are needed on production floor.
