Job summary

Nelson Numeric is seeking a detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to own the shop's Tooling & Resource Center. You will manage the storefront where machinists access high-performance tools and precision gauges, ensuring setup sheets are respected and parts are readily available.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in CNC or related fields, are proficient with inventory software (CribMaster), and bring a precision mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a CNC environment, technical trade, or high-end auto parts counter.
• Computer Savvy: Comfortable with inventory software and digital tracking.
• People Skills: You’re approachable, professional, and love supporting a team.
• Technical Fluency and a Precision Mindset

Responsibilities

• Run the "Shop Store": Manage the storefront where machinists get their gear.
• Precision Prep: Build and verify "Job Kits" (tooling + gaging) against setup sheets.
• Inventory Mastery: Use CribMaster to track high-value assets with clinical accuracy.
