Job summary

Nelson Numeric in Minnesota seeks a detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to own the shop’s tooling & resource center. You’ll ensure machinists have high-performance tools and precision gages to hit aerospace tolerances, while managing the storefront and build/verify Job Kits against setup sheets.

You’ll track high-value assets with CribMaster and maintain accurate inventory records, contributing to a clean, professional shop environment and reliable tooling workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a CNC environment or technical trade.
• Comfort with inventory software and digital tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Team-oriented and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Run the Shop Store: manage the storefront where machinists get gear.
• Precision Prep: build and verify Job Kits (tooling + gaging) against setup sheets.
• Inventory Mastery: use CribMaster to track high-value assets with accuracy.
