Job summary

Nelson Numeric in Minnesota seeks a detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to own the shop’s tooling & resource center. You’ll ensure machinists have high-performance tools and precision gages to hit aerospace tolerances, while managing the storefront and build/verify Job Kits against setup sheets.

You’ll track high-value assets with CribMaster and maintain accurate inventory records, contributing to a clean, professional shop environment and reliable tooling workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a CNC environment or technical trade.
• Comfort with inventory software and digital tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.

Nelson Numeric is looking for a detail-oriented pro to take ownership of the most important "store" in our building: The Tool Crib Attendant

Forget "warehouse" work. We need a Technical Pro to run the "Tool Crib" of our shop. You’ll own the Tooling & Resource Center, ensuring our machinists have the high-performance tools and precision gages they need to hit aerospace tolerances.

• The Auto Parts Pro: You’re a wizard at looking up technical specs and managing complex catalogs.
• The CNC Machinist: You know the tools, but you're ready to step away from the machine and into a technical logistics/leadership role.
• The Detail Obsessive: You understand the difference between .001" and .0001".

What You’ll Do
